Made Mini CheeseCakes Today

I found a recipe for 100 calorie mini cheesecakes, but I decided to use one more package of cream cheese and one more egg and it came out half way decent. Most low cal cheesecakes taste pretty awful but this was OK. I hadn't made them in years so I tried them out, I forgot they need a few or so hours at least to set, haha. Oh well. I froze maybe 6 or 7 cause I'm probably gonna be the only one eating them here unless dad has one, he likes cheesecake too. I wanted to put some strawberry jam swirled into some of them but the jam looked wierd like it chrystalized or something so when they cooled I put some chocolate sauce over the top of 4 of them instead, it was all I had here. Fruit would have been good too or a pie filling. I guess it's my contribution to the New Years Celebration. Did you make anything for today? Wether it be a holiday or not I mean.

Well if you found a good recipe I would write it down. I made chili afew years ago from scratch. It was so good. I go to make it again and thought I'd remember how much of each ingredient and I didn't. Ugh! Made me very upset cause it was sooo tasty. Oh well, live and learn right?! Happy New Year!

I wouldn't want to print such things out either. If I were a cook still I would want to keep a file of my favorite recipes. I think there are templates you can use in Miscrosoft Works for recipes too.

I saved it to my email, I don't have a printer on here otherwise I would have printed it. I have before but to carry the printer in here is somewhat a pain. Yes it is best to save the recipe somehow, too bad you didn't write the chili recipe down either that would have been great again. Maybe you can find another recipe like it? Happy New Year!

I love cheese cakes but I cant bake them so I continue to buy them . I never check the calories of those I just think they are a treat . I also believe most things with low fat/sugar are normally awful but you are lucky to find one you like . I have cake left over from Christmas day , we had 2 big fruit cake .

I didn't make a whole lot of anything over the holidays as I had been sick with the flu. But tonight I did make some Rocky Road Fudge... I had been craving it for a while. But with trying to stay with a healthier lifestyle this might be the last time I make it for some time.

Healthier is probably better but for a holiday rocky road fudge is great. These store bought cookies aren't even that good to me that we had/have for New Years and yet they are going faster than the things I made. I guess I'm not that great of a baker if you ask my family. I can cook actual food though. I find baking more fun though.

cheese is my favorite and only a 100 calories?! I have to try this except cooking isn't my thing and I mess up a lot. Going to think this one through.

I actually had problems with tummy aches with this when I was younger, someone told me not to drink milk with it. Also I do have colitis and sometimes some food items do bother me but not if I know how to eat them. I won't be able to eat them everyday for instance. Cheese doesn't 'bother me' alot these days.
