It just makes them look weird.. I was just watching a movie a few hours ago whee i am 75 sure the lead woman had botox, since her cheeks looked plastic and shiny and it was always like that.. When i looked back at her old photos she looked so pretty without that botox.. Can't they just keep their skin healthy without paralyzing it or stretching it? They look like figurines or santa clause.

I agree. People should stop using botox because it really looks unnatural. i think people should stick to other cosmetic procedures like getting a face lift or something. Botox is just plain weird because it makes you face stiff; unable to show any emotion. This is just my opinion :) happy mylotting!

I think face lift would be fine too- but doesn't that make your skin thinner? Anyway, my opinion is people should just stop altering their faces, especially those who are already beautiful.. and spend their money on more useful things.. like charity.

I am also anti-botox but for seemingly different reasons. I think it's becoming so popular because the media projects unrealistic beauty ideals and expectations into the world. Women are constantly bombarded with images of 'perfect women' whose beauty is sold as obtainable but it's not obtainable because it's largely the work of photoshop and airbrushing but we forget that when we look at magazines. Hence botox. Women feel the need to compete to be the thinnest and most beautiful instead of working on self esteem and becoming confident with their natural beauty and attributes. It's sad really. But I think the problem is larger than the discovery of botox. I think it's about society perpetuating unrealistic beauty ideals that women feel they have to emulate.

It's all about balance, really. I always say: 'There is always someone worse off and better off than you'. It's almost a guarantee. So you should spend less time focusing on other people and more time focusing on yourself, your relationships, your work, education etc. Making yourself into the best version you can be. Most people feel a need to look attractive, so I understand that, but it should be balanced with inner attributes as well. Also, learning something new can be a great way to feel good about yourself. Learning a new language, taking piano lessons, etc. Then you have something tangible to be proud of!

I see some celebrity their face already pretty but still not thankful with what god give to them. They inject botox at their face and make their face ugly. Their face look like incredible hulk. I dont know if they like their face look like incredible hulk.

Yeah, it just looks so fake and obvious.. they cannot move their face at all, it's scary at times. It looks plastic to me, like the dolls in stores.. I just feel sad, since they look pretty even without having botox. it might be the pressure.. since they are famous.
