i find it amusing that some people are so fixated on what toys their kids can play with.my brother in law has a son who is my daughters age-mate so when he comes to visit he has no choice but to play with her dolls and kitchen utensil toys.my BIL keeps finding this a bad thing claiming it can make the kid turn gay and such,i find no wrong when we visit them and my girl plays with his sons toy cars and soccer balls.is there any harm when kids play with toys perceived to be for a certain gender?i even have bought some of the toy cars for my own daughter.

The classification of toys for either boys or girls is a concept introduced by society itself. There is no reason whatsoever why a boy should not play with a doll or a girl play with a fort and soldiers. The only reason that children tend to be attracted to toys according to such a rule is that they have become accustomed to them over the years.
As for a child becoming gay due to playing dolls, the whole idea is absurd. I live alone and therefore do all the housework, such as cooking, ironing and vacuuming the carpet. I have been doing this for a long time, but I have become gay yet.
