C compiler fo Windows 7 64-bit

I have a friend who have a windows 7 64-bit computer and he tried to install some c compilers in his pc but nothing works. He asks for my help but I don't know anything about that. My computer's OS is windows XP professional 32-bit and my current compiler is Turbo C++. I really want to help him so please can you suggest any good C compiler suited for his PC?

There are plenty of software for 64bit windows , you could use dev c++ ,turboc++ with virtual machine , or even visual studio to compile c/c++ program .But you can't you turbo c++ directly because it does not support 64 bits,thus you have use it dosbox or vmware or any other virtual machine.
