Protect my online privacy

I would like to know how I can completely protect myself on the internet. My picture and all true information about me are only on LinkedIn and Facebook. So when I register on a new website, I don’t know how to keep my privacy safe (what to add or not).

There are Home pages that will encrypt everything you do. They are not free, but they are worth it. You do not have to put all of your info on facebook and linked...You can use false birthdays and private info. You can also make them private to the public. Facebook allows you to keep all info private even you loggin email.
