Your not insane. You probably felt a connection with her that you have never felt from anyone before. This happen to me once but I've never seen that girl again and we only met once.

You're not insane but I would be careful about how quickly you define this as love. I am sure you felt a profound connection between the online interaction and conversation that you had but remember that without seeing someone (whether in real life or on skype) they could not be who they say they are and it's very easy to lie about who they are, what they do, etc. when you can't see them and don't know them in real life. It's great you found a connection with someone but just approach slowly and with caution for yourself and your heart. Try to meet up with them in person in a public place like for coffee and tell a friend where you're going so they can make sure you're okay. Also, if it's not possible to meet up with them because of geographical differences, then at least try to video chat with them to make sure they are who they say they are and take it from there. How can one have a girlfriend without seening or talking to her before? I don't think this is love but being in love.

Me thinks that if you are capable of asking the question: Am I insane? Then you know the answer. You are in love with love. How can you love someone that you don't know???? You are infatuated with her or the prospect of finding someone who has responded to you. But being in love with love or being infatuated is not the same as true love. For it to be true love, you need to know the person to be able to love that person. Sorry.

you are not insane oscaptain that feeling is normal .its not what we called insane..she still your girlfriend not ex right? . so you are in love with her and that feeling is normal. you just cant really hide your feelings towards her. :) god bless
