why is Umar Akmal batting at no.8?

I still don't understand why Umar Akmal is batting at no.8. I mean he is their best batsman along with Nasir Jamshed but comes in so low in the batting order.
Does anyone have an answer to this enigma?

In Today's match Umar Akmal is not playing and if he is playing at no 8 than Pakistan is not utilizing its talent.

I confused akmal with Gul but I am surprised he is batting too low in the order anyway. He is a good attacking batsman who can change the course of the game quickly.

Hi
I think the reason might be he is a very hard hitter of the cricket ball so they are using him as a hitter in slog over may be one of the reasons and he is inconsistent at times still if i am playing him in the side i will play him in the top order in power play with field restrictions on.there are few more reasons like azhar ali ,misbah, younis khan so on they want to play and steady the innings first then later explode with umar akmal may be the reason too.
