I was shock about the latest news. A woman take the risk to take a suicide from a train station and reported to have multiple fracture. She was brought to a hospital and they said that she maybe had a big personal problem. Do you think this is the best solution? If you get depress, sometimes you think about killing yourself if worst comes worst.

Depression happens in levels. It keeps up and keeps up and you go down further and further. It can spirel out of control and before a person knows it they feel so badly they isolate themselves and try to end it all. When life becomes so absurd that you want to end it all it is pretty bad. And unless they seak help and get on a medication that will help them balance out it can be too late. They don't think in terms of 'best solution' but in terms of helping themselves stop feeling the way they do.

I would say that person definitely has some personal, emotional or mental issues that she needs to work out. Maybe she should be seeking professional help. I hope so. I can't imagine having a nervous breakdown and wanting to kill myself. It's hard to step into their shoes. But depression does a lot to people..And who knows the circumstances she is living in?

Not all people are able to handle their problems well. And so they resort to ending their lives instead of facing each and everyday without having the right solution to their problems. Sadly, these depressed people would never think of disclosing their true feelings to anybody. They would be just thinking all the time. And we know that if we stay this way for a long time, without anybody to either agree or disagree with what we think, then all that we think are the only things that we believe in.

It's very difficult for us to read about events in which people attempt or actually do take their own life. For some of us, it's hard to understand because no matter how difficult things may get for us, we would never consider such a final solution and would always fight to stay alive for ourselves and for the people we love. But some people either suffer a situation so wretched and awful (abuse or rape come to mind) or are so low because of a mental illness (depression, etc.) They can't see any other way out. All we can do is hope these people reach out to mental health professionals before it comes to that point.
