Were Chelsea Bad or QPR Fantastic?

Last night's game threw up one of the big shocks of the EPL season so far when QPR beat Chelsea at Stamford Bridge 1-0. Everyone knows that Harry Redknapp is a shrewd operator and made no excuses for 'parking the bus' instead of following his usual attacking instincts. Was it a masterstroke by Harry, or were they lucky? Will this spark a revival for QPR? How will it affect Benitez and Chelsea?

In my opinion Chelsea just thought this match will be far easier than it was.Yea QPR are the last in the ranking, but it's London derby and this is something it looks like Chelsea forget about.Benitez have made similiar mistakes in the past with Liverpool, when we win against big teams and the teams from the lower part of the table take points from us.

It could well be that Chelsea took things for granted.Benitez had been pretty impressive at Chelsea in his last few games, but I think you are right -maybe he needs to chnage his teams mentality when playing against lesser sides.

Any victory for a side battling relegation will be an excellent result. Fans of QPR will definitely hope that this will be the platform to kickstart their escaping act. With Harry the Houdini at helm, there is every chance of them pulling it off.

Yes, Harry has had the magic touch with struggling sides in the past: namely Southampton and arch rivals Portsmouth. I hope he gets them out of trouble.

I would say it was a bit of a both. Chelsea were poor in the game. When they play at home these last few matches, they seem to play with the hand brake in place and hence the cutting edge is missing. On the other hand, QPR will probably now play with nothing to lose as they are in a state where things can only get better!!
Cheers!

QPR obviously played very defensively because they were away to a superior team. While this was not pretty to watch it was still a very good performance by the underdogs.
