Children back to school at Sandy hook.....

3 weeks after the tradegy at the school.... children are returning to school in a new one, in a new town and with a new principal. The new principal knows the children as she is the retired one form that school. She feels knowing those kids there will help them kinda get back to normal there. She was the one there for 14 years before retiring in 2010. I think its a great idea for her to come back. Those kids needs someone they can trust. Lets hope they can get back into things there. God bless them all....

I'm sure they will. The little ones it'll be a lot easier for them because they will forget sooner then the older kids and most of the younger kids do not know the new principal unless they have older siblings.

Yeah because most kids are in bed before the new's is even on. I don't let my kids ever watch the news and I don't watch the new's either it's too depressing to ever really watch at all.

I hope it will help them deal with their horrific memories, I guess children are far more resilient than adults when it comes to ordeal of that nature, and hopefully with time, patience and guidance they can grow up putting that awful day behind them and start to enjoy the rest of their lives.

I agree. Every little helps and a familiar face will be of great comfort to the children as they attempt to rebuild their lives in the wake of this absolute horror.Community spirit can be very helpful as it gives each and every child the reassurance that they are not in this alone.

I do hope and pray that these children will receive the support and comfort that they will need. And I hope we can do what is necessary to protect the children in our schools.

thats terrible things. children need someone thats familiar person for them that they really knew before to get help them to make normalisation condition. and need cooperation from parents and teacher as guidance as personally side by side with children to make better n growing their confidence as well as before.
