Yahoo has used up my patience. THey change things and to me they are not needed to be changed and although I eventually get used to them, they have deleted the delete button at the bottom of the page as you READ the email. Now you have to scroll all the way up and delete it. Share with me which email browser you use and why you like it. I am a simple persona nd don't like a lot ofhoopla...just want to send and receive emails with HTML. Seldom do I save one, 98% of the time I delete them.

I use yahoo, gmail and hotmail. I like hotmail more probably because it was the first email account that I created and I was used to it first. Next I like gmail and then yahoo. However, I tend to use my yahoo mail more than my gmail! Lol

If you use Yahoo, how do you deal with the delete button being gone from the bottom of the page as you read an email...and have to scroll all the way back to the top (if a long email) to delete it? Is there something I can "fix" to make it come back? I really don't have time to start a new email server lesson, but still... I waste so much time on Yahoo cause they took away that delete button in this last "upgrade". In my opinion, it was a down grade!

I guess I just go back to the top and delete it from there. I don't know if there are any preferences that I can change to make it appear. I don't think it has any but if someone knows better I would like to be informed about it! I agree, I preferred the previous yahoo mail appearance too!

I use Microsoft's Outlook Express, which allows me to read mail from as many accounts as I can have (right now, that's my IP's email & my gmail, though I could add my Yahoo!, maybe my Facebook, and could probably get a Mozilla Thunderbird account & add that). And I think that came with my computer in the OS on its hard-drive.

I am convinced that for my purposes and for most other people too, gmail is best because it is extremely powerful, but easy enough to get started using. As you find you need more features they are there and there is a lot of good documentation on how to use them, so it sort of grows with you.

I only use two different email services--Yahoo and gmail. Yahoo is my primary one so I can't really help you there. And with my gmail account, I only created it to have a professional address, like for resumes, and for my Youtube account. But I currently don't use it to send emails or anything. For Yahoo, I just have always used it for my email service ever since I started using email. I've never really had a lot of problems with it and I'm just used to it, I guess.

Why not use Gmail?? I think it is pretty fast and it has almost 8 GB storage space. It has everything which yahoo has. Give it a try, you'll love it!!

I have yahoo, gmail, hotmail, and our Chinese QQ, 126 mail. For myself I always use gmail and 126. Gmail for abroad connection, 126 for China inside. In office, I use our company mail systerm. I think its server from China Netease (126 mail also from this company) which is an internet company specialise in net email systerm. Yahoo mail I use not often. Not easy to block the spam email. I start to use gmail now. Hope it's better. In China, most people use QQ mail, it's very convenient, plus inside QQ chat soft (same with skype, MSN).

I use gmail for my email, have for years. It's simple and dependable and can be accessed from any browser, any computer, anywhere. I have a yahoo account too, I suppose because I'm in yahoo groups maybe? I've had it for years but haven't used it for almost as many years - there was no way to control the spam and, because of the way the spammers date their emails, I could never see my real mail.
