I know that capacitive touch screen phones are better in terms of features and usage but I was wondering of its lifespan. I've seen many resistive phones that are about 3-4 years in use by my friends and classmates but I've seen less capacitive phones that are about 2 years in use. How about you? Are you using a capacitive or resistive touch screen phone? What can you say about it and which do you prefer?

Capacitive touch screen is better than resistive. Today all smart phones are now using capacitive since its very reliable, user friendly and advanced.

I definitely prefer capacitive touch screens! They're easy to operate and react quickly when I play games with my phone.Besides,I have bought a capacitance pen to use in winter since I often wear gloves.

Capacitive is way much better than resistive. As per the lifespan of phones, I think it wouldn't really matter whether the phone is capacitive or resistive. It would depend upon the quality of the phone itself and the user. If the manufacturer of the phone took into consideration it's quality (parts, operating system working inside the phone, etc.), then expect the phone to last longer. The user though has to handle his things with things with care. A good phone will last longer in the hands of a good user.

I am not using both capacitive or resistive touch screens phone. I am a rough mobile user. So the touch screen phones do not last for a long time according to my use. So I I just use a key pad cell phone, which meets all my needs.
