What should be Indian cricket Board's priority for Indian cricket in 2013?

What do you think? Should the Indian cricket board opt for a short term, quick fix solution(dropping captains, replacing seniors, replacing coach) for Indian cricket, or a long term, well thought out strategy, where some short term loss is accepted, but focus is on longer term?

After two months,Indian board priority will be IPL that for sure. I urge Indian cricket fans not to go out in stadiums to watch IPL. It the stands remains empty than only our Board will take some actions and will care about our Test Cricket. The results we are seeing is a perfect example of BCCI planning in every sphere of cricket.

Yeah, we've to stop watching IPL matches, that's the only way to show our opposition. For their poor performance they always say, We are suffering from fatigue coz of Playing continuous cricket. Then, why they are playing IPL matches? They can take rest in that time.

It is difficult to wean away viewers from T-20, and IPL. However, some of the players can be asked to stay away from IPL on rotational basis, or else have no other form of cricket-test/ODIs etc before and after one and a half months for Indian team.

Hi friends I doubt that stadium's are going to be empty for IPL matches because our board members will take care of IPL matches rather than test and one day cricket .IPL is fetching them more money than one day and test games so they are not going to take any action and talking about rotation policy which will not happen because our player's are also interested in making more money than nation. It is very hard to change the nature where money is involved so much.

There is no need to drop Captain, or to give rest to seniors. Quick solution to selection committee is that while selecting team it should act fairly, in the interest of nation, without giving importance to their personal interests and ego. Should select fit and suitable player where from he is. For longer team selection should be made of two teams and alternative team may be allowed to play so that every player will get proper rest and more players will get chance to play international cricket and must see towards cricket as game and not as profession.

I do not see the reason why Indian selectors are not willing to have two separate teams for tests and ODIs. Yes, some players are different but why not some more different set of players.

Hi, RIght now as I said in other discussions too that Too many big players of India retired all of sudden. No use going in detail why Rahul and laxman retired when it was clear they had few years of more international cricket left int them. Now when so many players retire, it takes time to fill their shoes. So let the team find its feet and soon it would be like couple of years back it was.

So it is better to have a long term , well thought out and planned Program, rather than quick fix solutions else it benefits nobody.

Hi Indian cricket Board 's priority should be all the above you mentioned but i doubt whether they are going to do that or look to make more money with help of IPL .In my view first the captain and next the coach should be replaced by new one's after the chief selector changed i did not find anything new happening in Indian team other than getting back Dhoni's friends .

I do not support knee-jerk changes also, but yet whatever should be done should be as per a plan. One or two losses should not bother us too much, if overall players and team's performance is going up. But the question is: Is Indian cricket board accountable to anyone?

in this year 2013 starting of india very bad than other team. that is not good to india . because their r several match to this year ,so india beat day to day it not possible .ki kehete hai ki(bar-bar ke pooe nahi hote). indian cricket board find a quick fix solution(dropping captains, replacing seniors, replacing coach) for indian cricketbecause in that india face a big problem that time.
