after spending 2,5 years with Liverpool, Joe cole is back to West Ham United..and 31 years old is back to his first club..
West ham is lucky because they didn`t buy him..The contract of Joe cole is terminated by Liverpool..
In his time in Liverpool, his performance isn`t like when he is in Chelsea..
he ever goes to Lille as on loan status..
he only plays 42 caps in Liverpool and scores 5 goals..
he will use his number jersey, 26..
Joe cole is very glad back to his first club..He said that this move is right for him..I always him West ham and i hope i can gives good result for this club
He plays for west ham since 1998 until 2003 and scores 13 goals from 150 appearances..
Welcome back to West Ham, Joe cole..

i don`t know if joe cole can play again for national team..
i think it`s not his priority now
he should make focus to recovery his condition and give many things to his new club..
ashley cole and joe cole have a different position so it`s not possible if you compare both of the player..

Joe Cole is the kind of player that could open up the defense single-handedly. He possesses immense talent and reads the game well. But he needs to have the team built around him to be the most effective. He would have been the midfield general for Roy Hodgson's Liverpool but it was just not to be after the sacking of the manager. Cole was not really in the plan of the new managers of Dalglish and Rodgers, so he did not get to play a lot there.
I am not sure if he could do well in West Ham as it is not exactly the same team that was known to play "artistic" football. I am not sure if Sam Allardyce's brand of football is suitable for Cole to be himself again. I feel that he would be better off to join QPR and play under Harry Redknapp, his manager at West Ham.
Anyway, I hope that Joe Cole will pick himself up again and show the world that he is still has something to offer to the EPL.

I would say finally a sensible move by Joe Cole. He was always the almost man at the bigger clubs having a good game here or there, but not able to pin down a regular spot. Now at least in West Ham, he might have a regular role.
He started well with a goal in his first game with the Hammers.
Cheers!

At one time, Cole was the most talked about English player. The next Gascoigne as they said. However, injuries has blighted his career and restricted his development. Without a doubt, on his day, he can still destroy defences but one would think can he do it consistently. West Ham is taking a risk here.

Well, I almost forget that Joe Cole came from West Ham before he moved to Chelsea and Liverpool (also loaned to Lille).
He's a good player actually. And he's ever been called to the national team, too.
Don't know why he can't fit in Chelsea and Liverpool. Maybe injuries or maybe the coaches' tactics.
Hope he get back his performance in West Ham. Good luck to you, Joe!

Hiya adhyz,
It may well be that he will find himself again and that is something we all need to do.
Team will not be the same as before but it could be that if he really wants to be back there it will change him somewhat hope so.xxx

Finally!!! I'm so happy from that transfer.Joe Cole was a huge mistake for Liverpool.Waste quite a lot money with his salary that was bigger than that of the most starters in the team. It's a great player, but years are saying their world and he can't anymore play on that level liverpool wanna play.Good luck in West Ham, Joe.
