Ever since the christmas program everyone has been asking my 10 year old daughter to preform again. So she has gotten into this one kind of dance its where they don't sing or say any words but they do motions and such to the words of the songs. It's sort of like sign language with a different twist to it. She is so excited and Im excited for her. We went to church this morning so she can practice on the stage. She's been practicing at home and on wednesday nights in the classroom but it's a little different being on the stage at church. Were going to go again saturday and then sunday morning during sunday school cause no one will be in the santurary. God has blessed her were some amazing gifts and I am so very proud of her because she said she only wants to use her talents to serve and honor God with them.

Wow such a pleasure of having a daughter like that. Most of the times, when a child is talentented and has no fear to perform in front of a crowd, it always becuase of the parents lovng and endless support. And yes, you were able to give her the courage to do that. I would like to praise you more than your child, because if you did not support her, i am so sure that she won't be as confident as she is now

Yes, and good thing that you had reversed the way you were brought up with the way you are bringing up your children and now you are harvesting the fruit of your labor, children who have self confidence and high self esteem. Children who believes in their capabilities and talents.

AW!! thank you Mavic and yes your right and I guess that's why Im like that with my girls I didnt have that when I was growing up. I played the violin when I was younger and enjoyed but ended up giving up because of my mother always putting me down and stuff. I know how that felt so I try an encourage my children and those I teach to at least try it once.

I understand very well how mothers feel for her kids achievement.
I am sure your daughter is also proud of you for being supportive.
Congrats to your daughter for having such a talent and I wish her more blessings to come.
