At present i have 160 gb capacity of seagate hard drive on my pc. I always used to copy my important data on removable meadia like cd's or dvd's. Afterwards used to go to erase all the data on my hard drives. When ever i want to retrieve my previous data from my removable devices like cd's or dcd's, there will be a problem with those medias. Sometimes they shows data safely, but not all the times like that, why?.... I uses only a better one dvd reader of LG brand to read those dvd's. I am not finding actual problem where it produces? Selected medias are wrong? If its is right, then where i to store them safely?... Or is there any grand idea to store my data safe and sound always!.. please let me know it now.....

There are file sharing sites where you can keep your files in and it is not necessary to share them. For example there is https://www.dropbox.com/ or https://www.sugarsync.com/. All you have to really do is make a account and you can go on any computer to access your files. I use dropbox and I have to say its pretty good. I haven't really tried sugarsync before. P.S. You can also access them on your phone.
