Hi everyone:
I sure do enjoy helping others, as I gain a blessing from doing it, as well, as it makes me feel good, that I have made others feel good. I have always wanted to thelp others, and so I decided to make baby layettes for new babies in the church, as well as I am making hats and scarves for the homeless. We have a lot of homeless in my town, and what is worse they sleep out in the cold at night, and that is when they eed the hats and scarves. I don't help others to get anything from it except satisfaction in knowing that they appreciate it. So, if anyone has a chance to help others, then I suggest you do it, as you will gain a blessing from it. Everyone take care, and have a great weekend.

yes, appreciation is the key, and IU know the ones i have helped, did appreciatge what I did for them. I do think though that the bleswsing I gan far outweighs any appreciation that I get. I just feel so good, that I wat to continue to help others. I am hoping that someday, when I need help, that I will get it as well. Thank you for responding, and have fun mylotting.

My husband and I love helping others as well. We do it all the time, maybe too much. We do it just because we love helping and it does give us peace that were doing the right thing.
I am glad you like to help others too and I hope the ones you help always appreciate it!

So f far, the ones I have helped, did appreciate what I did, and they told me that Ididn't have to do it, and I told them, that I wanted to do it. They really did like what I had made for their babies, and it made me happy that they were appreciative that I had done that for them. I will continue to help others as long as I am able. Thank you for responding, and have a great weekend.

This is awesome what you are doing. My husband and I are helping do a homeless ministry thru our hcurch and personally this is something maybe we should adapt and consider. I was donated some crocheted hats but never considered scarves. Might be something to bring up and consider doing for next year. We have a lot of homeless in our area as well as homeless camps.

Where I live, we have a lot of homeless people, that need to keep warm in the wonter, as they will sleep on park benches or under bridges. I know I couldn't do that, and it has to be hard to do that night after night, especially in the winter, when it gets really cold at night. I know them getting hats and scarves are very much appreciated. We have had homeless people walk into the church as well, and it makes me wish I had hats and scarves to give to them that were already made. It does take time to do them, but I will eventually get them all done in time. I have just been busy. thank you for responding, and have a great day.

Hi rosekiss,
You have a good heart. I believe in you. It is also stated in the bible that if we help people, it is also better to help people who cannot give you anything in return. With that, it is God who will give you the reward. Helping other people is a good attitude and there are many ways to help others. It is not only giving help through material things, but it can also be in a way in which we help them morally, emotionally or spiritually.

I don't help others to get anything in return, because I f3eel if I did that, I would be helping them all for the wrong reason. I have always got a thrill from helping others, and seeing what their reaction would b e, and everyone I have helped, have been so appreciative of it, but they also told me I didn't need to do that. If I couldn't have hleped, it certainly would have taken the enjoyment out of helping, that is for sure. Thank you for tkaing the time to respond, and God bless you.

hi rosekis, hope you fine and well/happy in life always, i saw your nice discussion, in this you mentioned to help others give you great satisfaction, it is right to say that to do help others, received satisfaction to heart, and this kind act should adopt for every one in the world, but as i think these are less in the world to do so, you mentioned that it gain a blessing from doing it, and makes you feel good, that you made others feel good. you have mentioned that you decided to make baby layettes for new babies in the church, and making hats, you have a lot of homeless in your town, is its mean you help only with your country citizen? or you like to help for others country citizen too? take care.

i have never really thought about going to other countries, but if others in other countries need hlep, then any of us should be willing to help them if we can, and in whatever capacity we can. I never realized until I started helping others, that I would gain such pleasure from doing so. It is a real blessing, one that no one can take from me, as I do get blessing from helping others. I don't do it to get anything back, as I do it because I want to. I will continue to help others as long as I am able to. thanks for responding, and have a great day.

you are doing a very good service as well. It does make a person feel good when you realize that the person you helped got a benefit from it, and that is what it is all about. Not about us getting a benefit from it, but just maybe a thank you which is Good enough for me. I guess you could say that i helped an animal too, as she needed to be rescued from the pund and I rescued her, as she had been neglected. Now she has a good home, and I love her and she loves me. Keep up the good service of helping others, and thank you for responding.

hi rosekiss all my workng life was spent as a nurses aide and later as a page in a library so yes I helped others and enjoyed doing it as it paid back Go d for m y being here on this earth. we each
should have some sort of reason for being. Otherwise we become selfish and not nice people. I enjoy helping just for the sake of helping. You do receive many blessings for it always.

Yes, I certainly do get a blessing from helping others. I like helping others, as that is what God expects of us, to be kind to others, and helping them is just one way to do it. I have never worked in a hospital, but that is a very good profession. I helped a lady in walmart once as she was in a wheelchair, and she couldn't get her the item off the shelf. She was very appreciative, and I even stayed around a bit to see if she needed more help. I was thinking that if that ever happened to me, I would want help too. One good turn deserves another. thank you for responding, and take care.
