Currently our governor here in Cebu is being suspended for six months. With that they choose the vice-governor to act as the governor. The problem arises when the governor strongly disagree the decision being issued by the DILG and continue to stay in here office even during holiday seasons.Acting governor think that it would be better if they will disconnect all the electricity and water supply in the governor's office so that she will be forced to stepped down. However the suspended governor is so firm to stand and say he is not scared and she will just step down over her died body.
Some are already questioning if how did she stand that kind of humiliation in her life. But others also defended that is not humiliation it's the pride and dignity she's trying to protect that's why she doesn't have planned to go out in her office.
Mylotters, what can you say in this situation? Should she need to step down?If that's so, in what why she can be forced?

if she is being susupended its clearly that she is against your country law,i think there should be some procedure to take her out from his office with force if it have too.But it should be with the right procedure according to yhe country regulation.its a foolish pride for someone who proved to be guilty.

She is still insisting that she will stay in her office no matter what will be the result of their restraining order request.According to her in her one of her interviews, it's already the commitment she's willing to give even if her own life. Moreover she added that it's just very painful that this kind of devastating problem arouse in her family knowing that her parents are not getting any younger.
Just today, the oral defense was made to lay down their appeals of the said accusation especially the six months suspension.

I beg to disagree about her dignity. We already know how corrupt she is and her family. Who on earth would buy a piece of land under the sea? This is like she is stating that she owns the office and she owns cebu and no one can stop her which is very wrong because the truth is she just a public servant and she is using the money from the government which came from taxpayers. I hope cebuanos won't vote for her and her family for the next elections and the politicians who supported her. She got pending cases on court but because it's moving slowly because of money.

If this is so (and why should i doubt it?) she should be forced to leave the office. Because all electricity, internet, water is still payed for by taxpayers.

That's false pride. She should get a lawyer who can give her good advice on this. Why is she staying put when she is supposed to be suspended? She is giving a very bad example to her constituents. She is defiant and I think she is abusing her power. She is no longer the governor while she is under suspension. she should learn to abide by the law.

According to her, DILG is making reckless decision to suspend her.She is not contented with the outcome that why she is waiting the result with her appeal but for the mean time she's already staying for 3 weeks in her office. She spent their Christmas and new year!

I am aware of that fact that your governor has been suspended from office and would not want to step down. But I think that it is out of humiliation that she is not stepping down. I think that she is just humiliating herself even more if she would stay any longer. What is she trying to prove by staying? I don't think that there wasn't any basis for her suspension.
