Can God Forgive America?

I saw a link that asked that question---leading to some pastor's book about how to build a stronger America on the foundation of 'Biblical truths' (which are NOT the Biblical 'trivia' of "who do you gotta believe-in to make nightmares go away" etc.)
And my response to that question: No! G*d CANNOT forgive America, because America is not a living thing....
I'm seeing now that MAYBE the link-text was referring to 'the people of America' when it said "America"; but the answer is still No! America is something that G*d will forgive us FOR when we Prodigals make our way back to the Family farm! If the people call themselves "people of America" rather than "people of G*d (who happen to live on a landmass that calls itself 'America')," then G*d will let them STAY 'people of America' and will keep them outside of the Kingdom of G*d.
You Agree? Why not?

America is mentioned in the bible why would God not forgive a nation that is mentioned in the bible? It isn't the whole nation that is against God it is just a few people that are trying their best to make America bad by taking God out of everything. But us Christians won't let that happen we keep God in every part of our lives and nation. God blesses American! Those that love God and do what is right by God will make it into the kingdom of God but for those that don't love God no telling where they will end up. There will be nothing bad when all bad is destroyed by God. Why did you put * that in the middle of spelling God?

Sorry to burst your bubble but America is definitely not mentioned in the bible. Can not possibly be mentioned in the bible, a nation that did not exist until more than 1500 years after the writing of a book that was written by men in the middle east who had absolutely no idea there was another continent on the other side of the world. It was 1500 years after the birth of Christ that Galileo was killed for suggesting that the world is round not flat. Sorry but there is absolutely no mention of America in the bible.

'God' is not the divine name! I put the * in there because He is not ALWAYS regarded as "God" (even though you never CALL HIM "not God" when you know it's him you're talking about, you SCREAM that He is 'NOT GOD' anytime you ignore him by hating, compromising or doing anything else without loving).
And I agree with Tornknee that America is not "mentioned" in the Bible. Oh, I'm sure you could interpret some of its language to imply conditions similar to those in America; just like you could interpret some of its language to imply that the TeleTubbies are the 'Horsemen of the Apocalypse,' if you wanted to (which I don't).

I guess God can forgive America referring to it as People of America if they will repent what they wrongly did, if ever they had done anything bad. However, for me forgiveness can not be obtained collectively. Everyone has his own way of asking forgiveness from God.

I believed it is not only America committing those things , also other countries. Of course God is a forgiving God , anyone who comes to Him for forgiveness are forgiven . Our God is s God of many chances . He doesn't know how to condemn His people . He keeps on waiting for us to call Him and He is always there for rescue and refuge.
