My daughter has such an obsession with stuffed animals. She has so many that they take up the entire top bed of her bunk bed plus half of hers. Ot sure how she can sleep crowded around all those bears. Do your kids collect stuffed animals too. Is it getting o be too much like in our house.

Our advice is to major in the majors and let the rest work itself out. When the boys do not need these things anymore, they will fall by the wayside. Divorce takes its toll on growing up and if some “security blankets” help make that less painful, then let the boys have their comforts. Childrens are smaller but danger. I am glad to read all about your little kids. :)

I don't have any small kids around but my sister being quite old now still collects these stuffed bears. Trust me they irritate me, i love bears, nothing that i don't, but i can't be surrounded by them forever. She gets gifts which will be any of such kind of bears and she goes mad over them. I am so not into such things, they are a pain in my neck

My daughter preferred stuffed animals to dolls. Now that she has grown, she has a couple of dogs and not sure if she really wants to have children. All I can say, is whatever makes her happy. She loves her dogs, trains them and takes good care of them.
Let your daughter be a kid. Who knows, she may become a vet or a dog trainer or work with animals, etc. If she is looking after her stuffed toys and they are not creating a mess or getting dirty, etc., then let her be obsessed with stuffed animals. Stuffed animals are safe, they are a comfort, they are lovable.
