I didn't understand the taste of ice cream.

Last December when my parents when to grocery to buy things needed for Christmas, they also bought two flavors of ice cream. One is for me having my mom chose the flavor she thought I would like and the other one is mix of flavors. When I ate the ice cream that my mom chose for me, I didn't like the taste because it tastes like crap. I told my mom about it and so she ate it. She said something is wrong with the ice cream. I also let my cousin taste it and she also didn't like it. I don't know if it is already expired because it already tasted bad. I regret the money spent in buying that ice cream. Since that happened, I didn't crave much on ice cream. I'm craving for pizzas.
