Milk is used mainly as a flour 'improver' and tends to make the bread a little softer. Older recipes tend not to contain milk (unless it is specifically called Milk Bread). Oil or fat is not strictly necessary, either, though many recipes contain it.
My basic bread recipe for years (before bread machines) was: Flour, yeast, water at blood heat and a little salt. The only oil I used was to coat the dough so it didn't stick during the first rising and to very lightly grease the tins before we had non-stick loaf tins.

Hi thank for the info.
But if I go by kosher standard.
It says no dairy at all.
Have good day.

Soy powder might work. I would think the powdered milk would not be that big of a deal. I'm trying to remember if I have some recipes that do not call for powdered milk in them. I am sure an internet search as suggested would turn up plenty of options.
