Jack Reacher Vs. The Hobbit??

I went yesterday to see Jack Reacher. I have read several of the Reacher series by Lee Child and found the movie satisfactory. Today I took my grandsons to see the Hobbit. They had read all of Tolkien's Lord of the Rings works. When the movie was over today, the 12 year old said, "What a rip off." Have you seen either or both of these films?

i gave seen both films..never read the book before.. i like both films..but Hobbit kinda..boring..but still the action scenes are rather entertaining to see...

He was disappointed that the movie did not finish the story. Having read the book, he was expecting a completion in the movie. Instead they set up for a sequel. He felt ripped off.

ow..ahhah yeha.. its probably too long of a book to g\fit into one movie..so the make 3 parts.. lol.. well..he will able to see part 2..in the next year or so..
