I myself have struggled with hospitals, I don't really like them to be quit honest. I was watching on CNN today how many people go to the hospital to get help with a situation that there facing, and many don't even come out alive, they walk in better then they come out. I was watching a story on a man that needed a blood transfuse and he went in the hospital alive and he left it dead. This is horrible because the doctors some how mix up the wrong blood and instead of giving him a match they gave him something else that when mix killed him. Do you feel that hospitals and doctors are safe nowadays ?

There is a saying "Spend as much less time as possible in hospital and police station". No body like hospitals, no body like to go to doctors but they have to. Talking of blood transfusion, accidents did occur before but now only rare of the rarest accident occurs. I have not heard any blood transfusion blunder during the last decade. Doctors give life to us and we should not make fun or criticize them in any manner.

Do i feel hospitals are the safest place to be? Absolutely not. To me it is one of the worst place to be. It is the easiest place to catch air born diseases. You have every sick person in one place, so what should I expect. When I am in good shape I try my best to avoid the hospital always. When I am ill I also try my best to avoid the hospital. How do you think I would feel if I go to the hospital for diarrhoea problems and come home back with diarrhoea, cold and flu. The risks are just too great. I am scared. But guess what I want to be a doctor and I am going to do my best to reach such a position in life. So even though I am scared of the risks of catching something, I am going to work in such an environment sooner or later. I promise myself that I will try my best to be one of the best doctors alive.

For me it's a no. Anywhere where I feel like a lab rat is no haven for me. I'm seriously uncomfortable with medical doctors. I don't want anything to prod me that isn't part of my body or drink or eat anything that doesn't look either like a plant or an animal. Call me paranoid and stubborn but I never stand well with hospitals ever since I was born. I never like the smell or the atmosphere alone. Last time I went to babysit my grandmother for just one day, I had to stay abed the next day. If I have my way, I don't ever want to go there even in my deathbed. I never trusted hospitals, their system and the doctors.

Nope. I can't stand them. They are like organized institutions if you ask me. I am trying to decide now where I'm going to give birth to the twins. Hospitals are so freaky to me and the Dr's office is even worse in my opinion. I feel like they only give text book answers for situations anyway. I rarely see someone actually healed anymore. It's just one sickness after another. Or one symptom after another. You go in for one thing and get treated for that, but the medication you get gives you something else. I mean come on really?? In my opinion most things can be fixed by just changing the eating habits. We don't want to give up all our delicious processed, gluten-filled food, but these are the things that are making us and keeping us unhealthy. No one concerns themselves with the pH balance of the body anymore. Even the water. I could go and on with this subject. I think we can have anything we want in moderation. However, a fairly healthy diet, exercise, meditation, and a few other things are primal to health and to keep us out of the modern day Dr's office and hospitals.

Yes, I agree hospitals are not "safe" anymore. A lot of problems are with some hospital's outdated equipment because of lack of funds. Also, I don't know if you know any doctors but their lives are extremely stressed. Doctors are not some millionaires that people see them as, they have to work day and nights and some of them do not get enough sleep. No sleep means no focus, and you're going to make many mistakes if you're not focused, some of which can kill their patients.
