Gavaskar has been writing cricket column for nearly two decades. I'm not finding its analysis too good. He has a problem with nearly everything. Indian players play football and he has a problem. Ganguly is the best analyst of Indian cricketer. He, during his cricketing career had seen both good, bad and terrible phases so he can understand Dhoni and Indian problems quite well.

Hi anil.
I agree with you completely. Even I believe that Gavaskar's views are very bias. In order to be professional you need to keep out your ego and your self out and bring in the analytic mind only. Gavaskar is a little orthodox which became clearly evident when he protested ODI matches.I am not sure about how good he is than Gavaskar but I believe he is much better than what Gavaskar is at giving views on recent developments.

yes,Gavaskar is right,Ganguly is much better. This much football play is to much for a cricket team. I f this practice has got for the Indian football team they must have win tournaments. Also In my opinion Ganguly was the best captain that India has ever got. Atleast he played for the team. But seeing present Dhoni, I am having a feeling that he only plays for himself. He knows well that he is the only player who is in form and yet reluctant to come up the batting order.

Please don't compare Dhoni and Ganguly. We should not compare both at this time. Dhoni is going through bad phase and the team can bounce back. Ganguly himself is a great admirer of Dhoni. Ganguly just want some workload should be removed from Dhoni and he is right. Ganguly is the best analyst of India cricket team.

Well said friend!!! It's a fact that Ganguly makes a good analysis of cricket. I would rather say Ganguly has more practical approach and is very scientific unlike Gavaskar. Gavaskar thinks of Indian players as a computer software where they do just what is asked them to do without mistakes. Common they are humans and are not programmed like robots!!!

I have never seen Mr Sunil Gavaskar play but by his records and what I have heard from my Dad that he was the best opening batsman ever we had and his and Kapils's fights we all know. What I have heard about him , I can feel he is arrogant and want things just his way..My way or no way. Ganguly is graceful player and I have grown up watching him. He never bowed down to opposition and always tried to employ right tactics. I too feel Ganguly analysis very good.

First there was Gavaskar, who broke so many records, than there was Sachin, who broke even more records, now we have Kohli, who should break more records than Sachin, trend should go like this.
I think you are the only girl in this cricket group. I think you watch cricket a lot. Of course, Ganguly, today is Indian cricket best analyst. The reason behind this could be his cricket career. As I have said, he has gone through all ups and downs in his career.

Both the players are good analyst of the game. Ganguly was the players who tought Indian players how to win matches in foreign countries. Dhoni has also good records with his captaincy. Both of them have different styles and abilities and both has their own opinions.
