Last October 2012, I was so happy that I was able to travel to Hong Kong for 4 days together with my college classmates. I will not forget it because it is my first time to ride an airplane and this was my first international flight. I am so thankful to my father for he allowed me and sponsored by travel expenses. I was totally in a state of culture shock from the people, place and food. It is very different experience.
We went to different place like The Peak, The Aberdeen, Avenue of the Stars, Ladies Market, Tsim Tsa Tsui and so many other places! I was so excited when we went to Hong Kong Disneyland and I was like full of amazement of how wonderful the place was that makes me forget all my problems and once and for all become a child again having no worries.
I promised to myself that I will go back there together with my mom and dad. I want to treat them for all the things they have done to me. I want to be an explorer.

I am also so jealous. That is how I want to travel, to get an apartment and a job for a month or longer and explore a place like a local and discover all the quirks and non-touristy places.

Seeing what you wrote makes me want to visit Hong Kong too. I haven't had a chance to visit there, but I hope that someday I'll get to go to Hong Kong too. And it's nice to see that you want to treat your parents. It's sad to say but filial piety is becoming rarer these days. Good luck to your dream to be an explorer!

I hope you will have the chance soon to visit Hong Kong soon my friend and also experience what I have experienced. Thanks for the response. I believe that parents should be thanked for they have nurtured us since we were born. I know it is not enough for all the things they sacrificed however I am sure they will be happy.
