Infinite Texting!

As it is a start of a new year, our family got a new plan on our cellphones. My brother got an activated smartphone, but doesn't have a data plan so he's still limited to what we have, though we changed it so we now have infinite texting. (We didn't change our phones because we - being my father and I - didn't feel the need to upgrade to a new phone.)
I'm kind of surprised this hasn't changed my life drastically. I never really cared whether I had texting or not, and I rarely used it. In all honesty though, this plan was for my brother because it was essential for him, though it might as well benefited all of us since the amount of text messages he sends is actually forcing us to go with the plan.
Do you feel texting is essential for you?

Well for me, I only text people because I don't have a choice. All my friends use texting and that's the only reason why I text. I personally prefer e-mail or phone calls but I guess a big advantage of texting is that it's very simple and short unlike emails and private unlike calls.

I'd totally follow you in that situation. Texting is better when there's more people doing it, plus it doesn't feel so great when you're calling someone and you have to wait for someone to finish talking to allow yourself to start.

No, texting isn't essential for me, as I rarely use it. Once in awhile, my daughter will text me, but most of the time, we talk on the phone instead of texting. since I have a smartphone, I guess ou could say that I text when I do mylot, as i use the keyboard to type my words. Actually texting someone and they text me back, is something that i don't do much of. Ig uess each person is different, as some would perfer texting to talking, but I prefer to talk more than text. take care, and have a good day.

I felt texting is quite important and it plays an quite small role in my life. The features like cheap, fast, secure are the ones which makes me to support texting. Moreover it helps me to connect others at any time as my needs. I love doing texting, not only me but my friends too

Hi friend, good to hear about this infinite texting. I am also interested in sending text messages during festival days. For me texting is essential during important days to send our wishes to our friends and beloved persons
