I have seen the gas prices increase in the couple of years, I remember a time when gas was 1 dollar and something. I have heard many people talking about how the gas will maybe increase soon, and what will I do. I feel that if that be the case then we gone have to start walking and riding bikes, because he can afford this prices who can afford to fill of the take half way, because some of us don't even bother trying to fill it up all the way no more, because we just refuse to pay the price of it, it's ridiculous I must say. I know I will have to say that I'm not paying for gas once it's sky rockets some more, I whether result to something else like walking or riding the bus lol What bout you?!!!:)

In such situation there will be only two solution left for the common man, ONE to sold their car SECOND:- Use their car only when they need it.
But for those who are having money it will not make any differences as for them car is the necessity and they have to use it.

I agree only the middle class always suffers. Those who have money are not at all bothered.May be some even sold their car's and some are not using them.

I think i can not concern about the gas price at present, because i don't have a car now. I am so glad that i don't need to worry about this.

I am not surprised to hear that the gas will increase the price soon. This is not a news. It seems we have already adjusted to it. We can't do anything to stop it. We have to stand it anyway. When the gas price increases, then everything will be much more expensive. Perhaps finally it will have an effect on my big plan such as the travel and big amount consuming.

It never ceases to amazes me why folks complain about the price of gas when we all know their not going to stop buying it. It's a luxury and a matter of convenience we've all come accustomed to and it's not readily going to stop. At best, I'd say we'll find more ways to be able to pay for it, but stop buying it...nahhh. I sincerely doubt it. I just think its a good conversation piece for people to complain about.
I personally will be buying it until the run out. I don't care how much it costs. I like to drive. I like the freedoms that come with owning a car and well, I just intend on making sure I can provide that for myself. So for me...gas it is, lol.

hi
I agree the gas prices are going to increase even more no doubt about that.
In the past when it was discussed about the increase in gas price among friends some used to say they are going to cut of this and that like start walking etc as you mentioned. But nothing such sort happened when actually the prices increased.
people who really cant afford to pay the money will definitely stop but i didn't see sch cases as of now in my place. Day by day the usage of gas in increasing. I think people are saving their money in other things like spending on costly clothes and cutting down all their extra expenses to use it for gas. As gas is necessary in our daily life.
The city people have no option but the country people have other options too like using the dry sticks or coal for cooking purpose but in cities we dont have the place to do such things as we live in apartments.
Hope people find better ways to save gas and use it.

Unfortunately, I don't think there's anything we can do about the increasing price. Sure, we could stop using our cars and go to bicycles, walking, some of us may even buy those electric vehicles. We're still going to need oil. The world was built to run on oil, just about everything uses it. I hope that we can make the transition to cleaner energies though because if we do run out of oil, our civilization will be in a lot of trouble.
