Carrot Cake

Does anyone have any good recipes or know where I can find one? I have never tried making one so I wanna make sure to use a recipe that will turn out good. I'd like to have one that doesn't have raisins also, although it wouldn't matter because I can just leave those out of the recipe I suppose. Carrot cake is my favorite cake and I have only ever tried store bought or when someone else made it. It'd be nice to be able to make my own. :)

hi...i've been using this recipe ever since and it's easy to follow and make. 1 cup vegetable oil 1 cup sugar 2 whole egg 2 cups all purpose flour 1 tsp baking powder 1 tsp baking soda 1 cup shredded carrots 1/2 cup crushed pineapple place in a bowl, the oil, sugar and egg. mix till creamy. sift the dry ingredients-- flour, baking soda and baking powder then add to the oil, sugar and egg mixture. mix well. then add the shredded carrots and pineapple. transfer to a baking pan of your choice. bake for 30mins at 350 degrees. to check if it's done, insert toothpick and if it comes out clean, it's cook. hope u like it...

A carrot cake recipe made with oil - if you use olive oil, use a very light olive oil. The oil keeps the carrot cake from drying out. Also, make the icing with cream cheese and add a little icing sugar. There are many recipes online.

Thanks, and yeah I know there's a lot of them online, but each one was different so I was kinda hoping to find out which one might be best to try out. I'll keep in mind what you said and try to find a good one.
