What would you do?

After many days of thinking I've decided to get a domain name of my own and start a website- don't know what to do, may be blogging or start affiliate programs.
I know earning from a blog is really difficult unless you put some hard work and write quality topics and get fair amount of traffic to attract internet surfers. That reminds me of an article I read which says "Blogging is NOT a get-rich-quick scheme, It's more like a -work for free for a long time and then repay your reward".
So, still I'm giving myself a few days more to think about this before starting a website, what would that be for and what will I do.
So, what would you do if you own a website?

Yes earning from blogging is really difficult. I have my site which I write some articles and for the main purpose of promoting my other sites and articles.
Have a nice day!

I only use free hosts, webnode. But I know there are also hosting sites which are good for professional use and one of those is Hostgator.

Although you didn't explicitly mention it, it seems as if you're looking for a way to earn through the use of the internet. First of all, it really is hard to earn through the internet. I know that it seems as if it's easy due to the fact that there have been so many "internet stars" such as bloggers, writers or video makers but, imagine all of those who tried but failed! I am not discouraging you however. If you can think of a creative yet practical idea that many people will entertain, go ahead! I suggest that, if you don't really have a concrete and sure plan as of yet, try to be as innovative as you can.
However, if you're really not desperate for the money, starting a blog is nice. I've been thinking of starting one for a while now but I just haven't fond the time to do so.
