Is Mylot an Addiction?

a pleasant day waleeds, i can't really identify if being here is a sort of addiction. and if others define it like that, then, this is a positive way of being a fan. since you are hitting two different target, one is earning and the other one is learning. having some earning while getting the learning is a good ingredients towards a successful path.

You may call it addiction.. and I'm also an addict.. in mylot.. eversince I join here every single day even when I'm busy i try to visit mylot and respond in some discussion.. even in just a limited time.. anyways I do love here.. aside from earning mylot for me has a lot of benefits.. like gaining friends and I can practice my writing skill here.. if only I have a lot of time I will spend it here..

Hi waleeds, if we don't spend all our time or spare time here it's no harm to log in mylot site everyday. It's one of my routines to spend some of my free time to read and type post here. Those who are fond of discussing can't help typing post here when come across topics that are really interest. Certainly it would be good if we enjoy writing posts and chatting with friends with common interest in interesting topics as well as getting reward writing here Happy posting

No it is not an addiction unless you spend hours on it and neglect everything in your life. That means you stay home from work, you have your spouse or children bring the food to the computer, you get up during the night to write on it, you do not wash, have a bath, take a shower, - like those bums who are addicted to the bottle do. It takes over your whole life. That is why people who use the word addiction carelessly harm others, because there are those here who want to learn something or want to write something and they think, "well I cannot be on mylot for more then ten minutes (or a short amount of time) and only so many days or people will think I am addicted."

Yeah, I totally agree with you. MyLot is definitely an addiction. I have been a member for 5 years already. However, I have been inactive for few years too but I was totally addicted to this site when I first heard about it from a friend. I can't help but check my account every now and then and participate in discussions. This is indeed a very good addiction for me. It helps you in so many ways. You get to discuss your opionions on things, meet new friends and participate in discussion. Now that I'm back up after how many years being inactive, I totally plan to maintain this account moving forward. I'll try never to be inactive again. After how many years of being inactive, I can still totally say that I'm myLot addictetd! :D Cheers! See you around....

the money is an added perk but this site can really be an addiction because it involves talking about the things we enjoy. You are more enthused and encouraged to continue writing because of the user interaction.

i don't log in at facebook as much as i log in here at mylot. i only open my facebook for about 5 minutes. while i leave my mylot page open when i'm seating in front of my computer while working. because i might just miss a good discussion. i don't know about money being a factor on being addicted here. i can earn more if i use facebook a lot. but i would still like to hang out here.

In my opinion,yes,it is an addiction provided you enjoy it.Since you are enjoying it,you have got addicted to it.But rest assured,this addiction is not injurious for you.Mylot is perhaps the only site where we learn a lot of things apart from improving our English.There are a variety of topics on which we have to express our opinion,and this improves our writing skill.Mylot community is spread across the world.So we become aware of various cultures,lifestyles and thoughts of people from other countries.And while doing so,we earn a little for expressing ourselves. Hi friend, welcome to mylot. you are right, really mylot is a great addicting site and most of the active members are addicted with this site. There is nothing wrong in getting addicted with this site as we spend our time in useful discussions and get paid for our time and activities, there is no loss with this site and we must be proud about our addiction

If i am to be asked it is a very good form of addiction. It is not a destructive kind of addiction. It is a worthy addiction. I called this as an addiction with benefit. Every seconds in here counts ! One is earning at same time enjoying , interacting , communicating to other people of the globe. Communicating and interacting with other people is already an opportunity plus at same time we are earning . Isn't it a good reason for us to be addicted also ?
