Obesity is a curse..it brings in quite a lot of discomfort and uneasiness. While one leads a sedentary lifestyle,it is very much hard to be in good body shape. The voracious eater builds up weight and excessive body fat accumulates which in turn cause serious health problems.A flat and trim tummy has its apparent advantages. Many physicians around the world has pin pointed the necessity of maintaining an ideal body weight.

I am one of those who lead sedentary life because my work consists of sitting at the computer all day, which is quite a sedentary life. It has affected my body in the past and I had to face a choice - change the job or discipline myself into healthy living. I found the answer somewhere in the middle - I make regular walks, I drink a lot of water, I avoid too much sugars and I eat plenty of healthy and nutritious veggies and fruits. I love chocolate and candies but I try to limit their consumption, otherwise I will start looking like a baloon.

Curse it maybe but how could I avoid not ending up like a humpty dumpty with the change of lifestyle and the years of unhealthy eating is taking its toll on this aging body. No amount of exercise or dieting could ever bring back that hourglass figure that I once enjoyed. As long as one is in a clean bill of health, having extra padding around the body is more of a blessing than a curse. I can't imagine myself with a thin body looking so haggard with loose clothing draping around my skeletial frame walking down the streets, that would make me look like someone who haven't tested foods for weeks!

I have been struggling with my weight for years, and I have tried to lose weight, and I do lose some, but end up putting it back on and more besides. I live a sedentary lifestyle as well, as I am elderly, but I will walk when the weather permits, as I try to get as much exercise as I can. the thing of it is, I fell last year in my home, and ever since then, it has affected my back, which is in pain most of the time, so it is hard to do much of anything. I do try to make the most of it though, and walk anyway, and just deal with it. I am on a regimen now, of getting fruits and veggies into my system, by way of drinking them. I wasn't sure how they would taste, but actually, they taste very good, and filling too. they get pulverized in my nutribullet. I had never though of drinking fruits and veggies, but hey, it tastes good, and I am hoping that it will help with my weight as well. It is supposed to anyway. Only time will tell. Take care, and have a very good day.

disciplining one self not to gain too much weight is not a joke. one should be very serious about their health. i'm into extreme sports, i enjoy that lifestyle, so i'm aware that i shouldn't be eating too much so i can be as agile as i can be.
