i'm drinking a V8 vegetable drink. i feel like i'm doing something healthy but is it really healthy? I'm sure it's packed full of unhealthy stuff as well and sugars and sodium.

i like it. it's kind of tomato tasting more than any of the other veggies that are in it.

Not sure what is on the label as I don't drink V8 juice. I think it has a lot of sodium. I have to cut back on the sodium. So, I use Mrs. Dash. I have to read the label to watch out for the sodium. I prefer to eat vegetables raw as they provide a lot of fiber. I cut up veggie sticks and put them in a plastic container with some water, and keep them in the fridge. That way, they are ready to eat anytime. I think V8 Vegetable Juice is healthier that fruit juice because fruit juice has a lot of sugar. (And certainly healthier than soda.) I always dilute the fruit juice with water because of the high sugar content. I have to watch the sugars as well as the sodium. So, I eat fresh and raw fruit and fresh vegetables as much as I can - seems to be the healthiest way to get the nutrients from fruit and vegetables.

I don't often drink V8 so I'm not sure, but you can check on the label to see what's in it. By law, sodium, sugars and other additives have to be listed. I did buy Clamato the other day and have been sipping on it. Tomato juice gives me heartburn, so Clamato is my substitute for that.

Clamato is tomato juice with clam juice added to it. It helps cut the acid of tomato juice and gives it a slightly different flavor. It's really good.

What`s that? I think that if you want healthy drinks, you`d better make them yourself. All you need is a blender. Ready made stuff, whether drinks or canned goods, have extra additives that are not healthy at all. It`s better to avoir them dear.

if it's serve from a can, then it's not good. it's better if you make some veggies smoothie for yourself. get the freshest ingredients too.

Preservatives are normally added to stuff such as canned juices but there are certain companies manage to can the stuff without adding them. You need to check the label to find this out. And preservatives as you know are not healthy.

I think the best is to drink the fruits and vegetables fresh, but if you can't and don't have time to squeeze them so it is better to drink this V8 than to drink sweet soda drinks like cola, sprite or something like this..

It only is if you make it yourself and drink it at once, but even then it's not quite as healthy as eating the vegetables straight away.

There are quite a lot of products out there which claim that drinking can have this benefit and have that benefit. Well, I don't think they can be compared with organic naturally grown vegetables and fruits. That is why, I would suggest you to eat more organic vegetables and fruits. They are free from all kinds of chemical addition to it which is the best choice for your health.

Hi what is this v8 ? is it some vegetables drink for health purpose which is sold ready made? I never heard about this one. But yes i know we can make some vegetable juice at home which is healthier and also helps in loosing weight. Ready made ones have some preservatives so i prefer home made ones.

Such drinks are good and healthy however, I rather go to traditional health drinks such as making shakes and juices from scratch. Since such drinks are made from scratch and their nutrients are break down into their natural form rather than being processed.
