I was just wondering, if you could change one thing about your life, what would it be?
It may be something from the past, that could have changed the present, or it may be something from the present that could change the future. I am waiting to see what's on your mind.

If I could change one thing in my life right now, I guess I'll have to change the time when I chose to have my job right now. I was torm between choosing the job I have right now and the job that I have been wanting to do in my life. I always wanted to work as a marketing assistant and when that opportunity knocked at my door I was so eager to embraced it. Suddenly, some things went out of control. My family went through a financial crises and I can't just let it pass by without extending some help. So when this job I have right now presented with a better offer in terms of salary, I didn't think twice to choose this because I needed the money when I made the decision. My state right now? I'm not totally satisfied with my job. It always gives me this feeling that I'm always doing less. There's always this part of me that tends to look for satisfaction which seems very unfathomable right now.
That's basically what I'm regretting now and if given the chance to change my decision, I would do so. I'm sure my family will understand.

I agree with you. It's always difficult to leave our comfort zone but you'll never know unless you give it a try. I'd rather live a life with few regrets than live life with so much 'what IFs'. That's what I'm doing now. I'm trying to look for better avenue where I can satisfy myself or at lest be content with what I'm doing. :)

Well I guess that you can always leave your job if it's not that satisfying. Especially if you get another chance somewhere else of a job that you would enjoy more. I know that feeling when one tends to think he/ she may be too old to start something over again but if one wants to be happy he will stop thinking this way. Your present situation happened for a reason, I am sure of this. Maybe by having your present job you got to meet certain people or do certain stuff that you wouldn't have done otherwise.

I think everything in my life is a lesson I am supposed to be learning. I don't think I really would change a thing. Of coarse we all want to be a little wealthier, for life to be easier, but then it wouldn't be what we need it to be, what we need to learn from. If I had to change one thing..I would of gotten my education by now for sure, and so there for be more financially stable. But being broke sure isn't the worst thing in the world.

Thanks a ton for sharing this discussion. Well if given a chance to change something in my life then i would certainly like to change the moment when i had pursued my B.Tech degree, it was just 4 years of wastage and i could have invested these 4 precious years in something productive. But since i have pursued my degree, i have forgotten those 4 years and have moved on.
What say?

Well I don't really know the reason why you pursued it even if you didn't like it. Maybe it wasn't your decision?
Anyways, congratulations from my part, you have a very good degree and it might help you when you least expect it. Who knows what will happen.
I want to believe that no year is wasted. You learnt something in those years.
