Not good at taking care of sick people

I have some patience to take care of my husband when he's sick but after a while I feel like you do, enough is enough. I have had the flu for the past few days, I still had to cook for myself and for the kids, get drinks, do some laundry, etc... Was it easy? No but I am a mom so I have to care for things, sick or not. When my husbands sick he stays home and in bed all day and night long. If he needs something I get it for him. After a while it gets tiring and starts to feel like I have an extra child! If we can do it while we are sick they can too!

I totally got you. When my husband complains, I'm like "Be a man!!" I guess I feel like you, he should be stronger than me. When I am sick I may take a little rest, but I still have to do for my kids if not for myself.

I feel the same, too. Especially that when a man is becoming sick, they are gonna act like babies and expect the same from their wives than the wives do with the kids... but the kids can't fend for themselves... no matter how sick I am, I can at least get up and make a tea or a sandwich for myself. Duh.
