Dear edvc77 There are some benefits of chocolates like good for heart, brain, Full of Antioxidants, High in Vitamins and Minerals etc. But those are for dark chocolates. On the other hand to much chocolate causes the negative result. My advice is give your son limited chocolate bar.

me and my son also love chocolates. Any kind of chocolates. But I know there are pros and cons to eating chocolates. So if I can, I really limit our chocolate intake. at least sometimes if I am able to resist. I know that chocolate is good for the heart and it makes me happy. I don't know if it's all in my mind, But whenever I eat chocolates I feel just relaxed and I don't want to entertain negative energies of any kind. It's my comfort food. But it's bad for the teeth. especially if you don't drink lots of water after eating lots of chocolates and if you don't brush your teeth. :)

Hi Khithi I agree with you, I enjoy chocolate, but I try to limit my intake too. I love to share chocolates with my family, because everybody loves chocolate here. But I know it was forbidden for nuns at my country. Blessings Khithi... dainy

Dark chocolate has health benefits. However, chocolate should be eaten in moderation, which is something that many people seem to overlook when they hear that "chocolate has health benefits." Moderation means a piece or two of dark chocolate--not a giant candy bar. Remember that there are other ingredients--such as refined sugar--in that chocolate which is not healthy for you in large amounts. I enjoy chocolate. However, I do not buy the cheap candies with which so many people stuff themselves. I buy good chocolates, and I eat those in moderation.

I love dark chocolate and it's pretty much the only choclate we eat these days. There are so many benefits of eating dark chocolate especially the ones with the higher percentage of Cacaco. Generally in moderation, cacao is good for cardiovasuclar health because of all the antioxidants. I love the feeling of "bliss" from eating cacao. It's true, it really does put us in a good mood

They say it's a "feel good" or comfort food. I also love eating chocolates, in fact I can't resist eating it when there is anything available for eating, I'd eat them without guilt. However, we know too much of it is bad. It is sweet, so think of the amount of sugar it gives our bodies. Just go slow on the eating of this yummy delicacy.

There's this book on chocolate written by John Ashton and Suzy Ashton. I was stunned to read all the good things (dark) chocolate has. But they advice to eat a maximum of 50 grams a day only!

Everything has its advantages and disadvantages. The chocolate has a magic feature and it can make you feel happy. Perhaps it is a sweet snack. So you will have a good mood after eating it. As long as you don't eat it so much, it is still good for you.

Hello dear, yes you heard that right eating chocolates, ofcourse at a limit will give you wonderful results. But only this case is for dark chocolates. Dark chocolates if eaten limited helps losing weight, helps as a great anti depressant. Helps to keep skin good etc. There are many good benefits of chocolates, provided they should be plain dark chocolates. Recently on my travel i got some wonderful handmade dark chocolates to binge on sometimes
