You can start teaching her the parts of the body or sounds of different animals. That is how I taught my eldest. Can you imagine , my child was already writing his full name at 3 years old!

Thanks! It must be from his mother's genes! just joking. But really, I am so proud of him coz he was ahead in his class. The teacher practically didn't teach him anything at the start coz he knew his alphabets and numbers quite well, too.

That is a smart 3 year old. The brain grows teh fastest from newborn to five though so if you are working with them during those years it will help a lot.

Sounds really cute, my daughter used to dance and imitate also at the same age. At this very young age the least you can do is encourage your baby, dance and sing with her, talk to her more and encourage the child to imitate you, too. Lost of fun there is. About professional artistic circles, I think it's too early.

Yes, I used to play the piano until several years ago, and my training started before I went to be first grade at school. As earlier the start is, the better, just like you said. As a matter of fact, every artistic ability should be encouraged and enhanced at an early age in order to develop perfection of the skills and performance. Good luck with that! Oh, and I made a technical error before - not "Lost of fun there is", I meant "Lots of fun there is", I'm sure you figured that out. Sorry about that. :)

Some things you start really early the better they will be in it, example: music.

It is wonderful your one and a half year old baby dances and tries to imitate you. I think you mean the word "skills". Well it sounds like you are doing the right things to amuse him or her. My youngest child is now aged three years old. Good luck with further developing your baby's skills in the future. Soon he or she will become a toddler.
