Atm machine

Why are you so afraid if it is yours if you will be noticed by the guards you might be thought that it is not yours. Relax .. It is yours anyway

haha..you're right that it's funny attitude. ATM machine is not new thing for people today. it has been used by people for years. so almost all people know how to use it. so it is wondering if you can be that awkward when using it. for me, being tailed or stared a stranger makes me more awkward, not only awkward but also afraid cos they can be bad guys who wants stealing our money. i think you should pay attention to this more important thing than being awkward in front of the machine. lol.

I am so sad to hear this, such things happen here too, last evening; I went to buy stuffs from market here; hubby’s pension was credited to his account last evening, so we try to draw money from the counter near the temple; close to our home, I am so upset, it had no money, we went to three others; the doors were open, in one there was a dog and a calf. There was no armed guard too.

Hi friend, i think you are very crazy about your card, don't worry about it. Your card will be safe and you can get your card after finishing the transaction from that ATM machines, not only you a lot of persons have this kind of fear. Most of the ATM center have security and they will help you if you had any problem with your ATM transaction. Be cool.

Haha actually the debit card stuck in the ATM machine is rarely happen,and even it happen to you and you no need to afraid of that,firstly you should call your bank at once then you can go to the bank counter and ask for your debit card back.It will not waste any of your money but will cost you some of your time.

No,don't worry about these things.Even if your debit card goes inside ATM machine,you can contact with your bank and can again get your ATM,debit card back. When i use my atm,i have to strach it and nothign else i do.i don't use those ATM machines where atm card goes inside.

I never use the atm machine because I just think it's kind of a hassle and I don't know the number to my account through the atm. I also don't really have the motivation to want to get it all in order and what not. I just find it much easier to use cash and my debit card instead.

I get scared and nervous every time I withdraw money from the ATM too, so you're not alone. However, I am more scared of getting nabbed after withdrawing the money than my card getting stuck. So what I do is I only withdraw money inside a mall when I am with someone. Withdrawing money from an ATM alone in an secluded area with be utterly stupid. I'm just ranting. Anyway, I couldn't agree with you more. I would rather have my ATM card eaten up by the machine. My money would be safer that way rather than completing the transaction without a fuss only to end up getting robbed right then and there.

I think the atm will only swallow your card if you use the wrong code several times? Or perhaps even this won't happen anymore. I once had a complete black out and forgot my code (quit annoying). So I went home (after trying 3 times the card was blocked) and they told me it would activate itself after 24 hours. So if I knew the code I could use it again. The only other annoying experience I (kind of frequently) have is that it's damaging my (new) card. A lot of scratches on it, a weird noise as well. Which means I have to ask for a new card (and pay for it again). And if it comes to checking your debit (or credit), I think this all has to do with the "internet" connections. It can be slow or fast. So no need to be nervous about that.

or.. go to your main bank or find atm's inside malls that are fully secured. before starting transactions, look for security guards.

That has happened to me especially during the first few times of me using an atm. But you'll soon get used to it, dont worry. Just make sure that you get your card and cash quickly or the atm would swallow it back!

I am the same way. Because once in the usa I went to take out 100.00 and nothing came out of slot. I went into bank and they said would take up to 5 days to check my story. Finally 2 weeks later the money was back in my acct. And not an explanation or even an apology from the bank. Thats why Im afraid of atm machines now...

Hi.Akamaru you mean you have to insert the ATM card to check balance and to withdraw.The funny thing is i never tried to use ATM because i fell like you but whenevr my friend went to withdraw they just swipe the ATM card. Hope i'll be trying next time myself.
