Not anymore why would i? That's very embarrassing. When i started working i have learned to budget my salary, living within my means. I dont overspend. In fact rvery payday, isee to it that i have something oto eat for everyone, a gallon of icecream, a cake, a pizza.

Hi,
I am retired person. But when I started working and earning money I never asked my parents for money. My son is also doing job and he also don't want money from me. But I am ready to help him whenever he need the money.

Hello roshigo. My son will finish his college education this June or July. He started to work a few months ago in a small e-business company. He did not get his salary in the first three months as he was considered to be an intern student. He got a little intern fee, which was only enough for some small articles. Now after three months, he is starting to get his salary. He got it this month, but still not much. If he needs some money to support himself, I still give him enough. Anyway he is trying not ask us for money. I am very happy for this and wish him to make some achievements in his work for more wealth. Take care.

When I was at school, I had to ask for some money from my parents when I needed to buy something related to my study. As to garments, my mother would always buy them for me if I needed. But ever since I graduated, I have not asked my parents for money, except the amount of money for my wedding. Actually I often give money to my parents for them to use and I am very happy that I can be helpful to them.

I‘m still a student and I decide to study in US as a Internatinal student. Its cost is really expensive so I must study hard to make me better. I feel not so good to ask money from my parents but I know now My main job is to study. I want to get a good job and a lot of money. I wish I can use my power to make my parents' life better. But life is hard, I will keep working hard and see what will happen.

I didn't ask for money since I worked. My parents paid my tuition and other fees when I was a student, and now I have the ability to earn money of my own,it is the time we should pay them back.

That is inspiring, I just want to do it like you did. I should pay them back and may they feel proud to have a son like me.

It depends on your age and background. If you are a student, it's no harm in asking for the money from your parents. If you are a man or woman in 20s then it's highly not acceptable. Once you attain the age where you can earn on your own, you should work hard and earn as much as you can rather than sitting at home and relying on your parents.

I really try hard not to ask money from my parents and now that I've payed my way through my associate's degree of college I have a lot more funds available and don't have to rely on them so much. Before I would constantly be running low on money because I was paying for tuition, books, gas, and everything else that is required for me to be able to go to school.
Now I'm doing pretty well paying for my own car and most things. My mom still pays a couple of my bills like insurance on my car and my phone bill but right now I'm just trying to save up as much money as possible so I can move on and won't have to keep draining their money from them.

I really don't want to ask money from my mom but there are times when I borrow money from her. Whenever I get empty, I just borrow money from my mom and will just repay it on my next pay day. She's fine with it though and it makes me happy. :)
By the way, she got no job, and I am the one supporting her needs and give her monthly allowance. Good thing she gets to save the money I gave her and I get a chance to borrow from her. :)

It depends. If I have work, I don't ask money for my parents, but of course, there is nothing I can do if my money is not enough. I still ask money to my parents even though deep within me, well, I feel guilty. He he he. The truth is I want to have my own money and I really don't want to ask money to my parents because its like a burden to them especially if I am already an adult.

Hi asliah
In my view there is nothing wrong in asking money when we are in need ,parents wont take it in a bad way but i think we don't ask them when we start earning instead we will try to give them in some cases we can ask when necessary after all they are our parents and brought us up though it will be embarrassing still nothing to feel so bad in that.

i can honestly say that i havent asked my parents for any money since i have moved out of the fsmily home. For me its a sense of pride, if i havenr got any money i will rather go with out if i can. But i like to think that know im an adult i have to stand on my own to feet.

No I definitely do not ask for money from my parents. Maybe as a "loan" (which I WILL pay off) but I'd rather just charge whatever it is with a credit card than ask either of my parents for money. It's a pride and ego thing. Besides that, I am a student who works full-time so usually I just don't need the money luckily. Best of luck with your schoolings!

Actually when we grew up and have an own income, we do not make our parents like when we were a child. You know we are gettin' older and that is enough to manage our life better. But sometimes we also need their help despite it's seldom
