I don't usually just throw things on waste basket like cell phone. Before, I just keep it in my cabinet and after several years I will throw it. But now, I sold all my old cell phones. I even give it to someone. The thing is, there are so many things in our house that needs to throw and dispose and why dispose it anyway. Why wait for years before throwing or disposing it. It will only use space that need to be use for more important things and will make our home comfortable.

Hi jralivio511, I don't waste any room on the shelf or drawer to keep used stuffs. On account of this I would like to trade in the old phone when buying a new phone. I would purchase new phone in kiosk or outlet that are willing to accept my trade in used phone with reasonable price. How glad if I still can get back some money from the old phone In case the used phone is too old to trade in I will send it to the recycle center together with other old stuffs. It's easy to get our house cleaned without tons of used stuffs as well
Happy posting

for me I don't keep old phones. after several years of using it my devices began to worn out and beginning to failed. I don't usually fix it or keep it, some of them are given to my little boys and girls as their toys, i just make sure that I have removed the batteries since the batteries are not good and can harm those kids.

Yes batteries are harmful. I have tried to keep my old phones as well as the batteries but this year I have found out that the batteries worn out. I Threw it and the phone is totally useless that is why I sold the other phones that is still working.

I think you don't have to be an engineer for you to recycle something. As long as you have the heart with our mother nature. Go for it.

i'd say if you do not have the need for the money when you sell your old phones (provided that they are still working) I would suggest for you to keep them. :D they can be really good stuff to keep, a collection and soon part of the memories. =) hehe

I agree. Right now we have about 5 old cellphone units in the house. Some are still functioning before we decided not to use them, but I don't know if they are still working. I am thinking of selling all of them. I wonder if they will be worth anything because they are very old.

I have just sold my old 3310 and 3350 nokia unit for 200 pesos each. Not bad for meal in a food chain and to have fun with my friends. We really have to let go of our past and move. Maybe that thing have sentimental value but is it worth it to just keep it?

Hi jralivio
I used to sell my old mobile phones but recently i did not sell them i am keeping them with me as a memory i sold my mobile when they are still in working condition but now i am storing them even they are not in working condition it is a very good habit to keep old items cause we never know which one will be useful at times.we can throw them if they are consuming lot of space but coming to mobile /cell i dont think they will occupy much space.

Throw it out or give them to someone else.God knows, many people would do everything just to get a mobile phone.

As for me,I have thrown four old phones after I buy the present phone.Like the old clothes,I will also throw them if I decide not to wear them anymore. It's good to see my house tidy and clean.
