I spoke to mom last night.
Both have been working almost a week now.
They went to church last week.
Were given clothing and things by church members.
They bought some food.
They get first paydays tomorrow.
Im so happy to hear, they are doing well there.
They have plans to buy things each week, to make their homes better.
I also told them. I had a bed and a few items they can have.. just need to figure out how to get them there.
The mom said they think the uncle would bring their truck here for those items.
I told her if they did, id fill the truck with items for them.
Remember I have 5 bedrooms here, all full...

You are such a sweet, loving person Maria to help this homeless family. I think the world needs more kind hearted and caring people like you. It is good to hear the parents are both working and will be buying a few things for their home each week. Start small and build up. I am sure you will keep us all updated on their situation.

I just wish I could have done more for them before... I walked by the park sunday, and I stood there trying to figure out how it was sleeping there in the corner.

Glad to hear that your family is doing well. It is good that you are going to give them things to help them out. They will surely need it. It's hard trying to fill our homes up the way we would like them to be. Yeah there is a lot that a person can have when they have five bedrooms.

I'm sure that they appreciate your help. It will definitely save them money. Now they will be able to use their money to buy other things or to set aside for savings. Either way you have benefited them a great deal.

It's good to hear that you are sharing your stuff with your family. I know some well-to-do people who instead of sharing the stuff they don't need anymore with a needy relative put it aside and leave it rot and rusted.
I'm sad about their attitude, they said it's the attitude of people who are well in life. Unlike the poor, they like sharing or giving away things. Well, if that's that case.. I would rather choose to be poor but never lack of things to give away rather than a rich one but is very selfish.

My family always needed help too. Every time you asked them how they are they never failed to give answers with an "we needed this" at the end thing. I guess relatives would always look help from people in the family whom they knew is able.
What they doesn't know though that I am struggling with finances too, I'm just too smart to hide from everyone, it's not that I want show off, it's just it's not their cares anyway... and they won't help me too.

Yeah, I think you have such a kind heart. And if our parent need our help then we should them with any could we have. Like you have goods you don't use anymore then your parent need them. Why not give to them, right? maybe another homeless family need your help too. One Good action will save the world. Just like song by michael jackson, Heal the World.

Hi Maria.
I was not following your previous discussion. So I do not have a complete idea of what is going on. But from whatever I have read I guess that you and your family had a very rough time for the past few years. And I am very happy to know that your bad times are over. I hope that things will go as you plan step by step. Wishing you and your family all the best for future. Have a nice day ...

They are still in the Uncle's house, right? It is great they are some place where they have more opportunities. I bet you feel really good every time you think of them or hear from them. Each improvement is a bright spot.

hi mariaperalta good for you and I am so glad to hear your homeless family is really on the way up. You and your mom are
really priceless and I will bet the homeless family will agree
with me on that. If everyone would do something like that the
number of homeless families would sure decrease here in t he US.
It does my heart good to hear this story and i know one homeless family is no longer homeless and are on their way tp a better life.
We have this problem in the US and few people willhelp which ios so sad.

A family is always there to support and give a helping hand. A family will never abandon in times of trouble. We would always give whatever we can when it comes to our family. That's why I trust my family a lot.
Good to hear this about yours.

Its really sweet of you to help this family out. Sometimes an act of kindness given from the heart is the best thing to able to receive. It sounds like they are starting to look toward a prosiming future. Hopefully they will be very blessed.

Thank you for your generosity and your family as well.I wish to be like what you are someday that is one of my dream. God pleases you for sure for whatever you do to you people. You already do to Him. Haven't you remember what jesus said in the bible about giving Were jesus said you feed me when i was hungry you give me drink when i was thirsty you give me clothes.. and they asked Jesus when did we see you hungry or thirsty ..etc etc. and Jesus replied that whatever we do to our brothers we already do to Him so Love one another. I hope you will never change and God will continue to bless you ..They may not literally give back your kindness but it's God for sure will return it to you as what the bible says more than what you give in some other ways
