What is the root-cause of inflation (OTHER THAN 'greed' or some other imaginary thing).

In the same sense as 'the value of money' and other terms of "debt" (the invention of a lazy mind, that wants value without production and/or -work ).

There are many who are adept at giving a more detailed explanation on the root-cause of inflation in different countries around the world. In my own very personal opinion, one of the root-cause may be the "supply and demand" principle. In economics, when the supply is more than the need for it, prices are lowered, and vice versa, which; in turn affect the inflation rate of a certain products or services. I'm not so sure about it but I would like to know more about this thing called INFLATION.

wage increases, oil increases, natural disasters that disrupt supply chains, a whole bunch of stuff that's interrelated, including greed. :D

There are many things that might contribute to the "root-cause of inflation". Taxes, labor costs, tarriffs, increased cost of production (the increased price of items to make the final product, natural gas, water, machines to make the product, etc). Transportaion costs can go up also, and gas greatly affects this one. Everything from toll booths to heavy traffic might cause the cost of transporting the product to the store.

But all those seem like 'value you must pay because people tell you to. I wonder how much people would charge for things when they don't have to lose anything to give it to you ... nothing but the time it takes to make it & give it to you. Maybe I'm thinking of a new system, one where you get what you want because of 'what you're worth' (and that's not 'how much work you do,' but it's a number you are given--corresponding with your name and -SS#--that increases as your seniority-percentage (the percentage of the population which is younger than you) increases)) You give the seller your number and--if that matches up with a value that's high enough--the seller is honored to give it to you!
