Many may not know this, between the front wheel drive, and the wheel rear drive. I have always had front wheel drive, and never will cahnge this. A front wheel drive will pull with the front tires if stuck or sliding. Whereas wheel rear drive pushs with the back tires. So front wheel drive the back end will go, whereas wheel rear drive the front end goes. Front wheel drive you have more control over it. I always stack cat litter in my trunk for the winter, so it weights the back end down, so while pulling with the front tires, my back end wont go. Wheel rear drive, you can't have a simple solution the transmission and engine weighs the front down, and you can't weigh it down more. My friend kept saying, she is going to weigh her trunk down with cat litter. I tried exaplining it to her but it's more of a smack in the face trying to explain it to her, and then I gave up.

I am pretty much ignorant when it comes to my knowledge of cars so just a few days ago I wouldn't have been able to tell you whether my car was a front-wheel drive or a rear-wheel drive. However, my car is going to need to get the clutch replaced pretty soon and my husband said that is going to be something that is going to be a pain in the butt because of the fact that my car is a front-wheel drive. I love my front-wheel drive because there has never been a time that I've been stuck with the car that I have right now.

Front wheel drive is actually for only commercial vehicle. It is not made for having heavy load. Here front wheel gives power to rear wheel. Rear wheel is free. When this type of vehicle stuck in mud or sand, it is hard to go over it. Rear wheel drive is made for Heavy load vehicle (Transportation mainly). It is made for having heavy Load. Here Rear wheel gives power to front wheel. Front wheel is free. In model of commercial vehicle four drive is given. This means all the four wheel are getting power direct. This make the vehicle more powerful. This type vehicle can't stuck im mud or sand. It can be drive as onroad and offroad. I had tried my best to clear this topic.
