well my husband is at home today because his job is shut down right now and wont start back up till monday so I get to have him home for a few days. lol. Today we are cleaning house normally I will clean the house througouly at least twice a week then that way all that needs done is normal clean up from meals in the kitchen and a little tiddying up. Now for the most part despite the problems I have with my legs and back I can manage to do most things around the house on my own. The main thing I have trouble with is sweeping and moping the kitchen and bathroom floors and picking things up. The kids help me out a great deal especially with picking things up. But when it comes to the kitchen and bathroom floors no matter how much we try and teach them the floors just don't turn out right. So my husband said that if everything else is done he will take care of the floors. So that's what we do usually I will do dishes after lunchtime and the kids two at a time will do the dishes at night one will wash and one will dry. Then they each have to keep their rooms cleaned up meaning clothes put away properly, their beds made and things like books, toys, etc put away. Then I usually have the kids take turn in helping me with the laundry. I usally load the washer and start it then I will have someone as I take the clothes out put them in the dryer and add a dryer sheet then I start it. Im thankful to have a spouse and children that are willing to help me like they do. It makes the house run much more smoothly and everything is neat and orderly I always pride myself on the apperance of our house because I believe that it says alot whenever someone comes over.

Thanks a ton for sharing this discussion. Well i have always felt that married couples should always divide their household chores equally among themselves so that one does not feel pressurized than the other. If wife is handling all the household works may be husband can assist her in getting groceries from outside. This will effectively divide the work and will make the work smoother for both of them.
What say?
