I wonder about this a lot. This morning we're having turkey ham. That's what it says in the label. I am wondering if what these canned goods are saying is true. There are canned turkey ham, pork, beef, chicken, etc. Are they real? Do they really contain the stuff that it says it's made of?
I would love to hear what you think of this issue.

Some canned goods and processed foods are full of extenders so they will get more mass. They are also highly cured with salts and spices. They use food colors and lots of preservatives. When we are in a hurry we rely on canned food but when we can prepare food we cook fresh foods. I guess canned fish are real like sardines and tuna.

I agree friend they use lot of preservatives and colors for attraction. The spices and salts are also too much than required. I never tried canned fishes.

Canned goods are fine however fresh foods are healthier. The canned goods have preservatives and they have effects in our bodies. I eat canned goods when I have no time to cook. It is good to eat canned good from time to time but not everyday. Just a suggestion.

I agree with you, canned goods are better for rush hungry people who don't have time to cook like me. there are still some add on ingredients from those canned goods to preserve those food and not to spoil and they have a longer shelf life as you will see the expiration. So, it will be so much better with fresh food than canned goods and all the vitamins we can get from eating fresh

I think it is true as long as the brand is trusted for years.. I don't buy canned goods that I think is not a good choice.. I buy those that been there for ages and even older than me or eversince I was young we are already using it so we will not think twice,,

Maybe it will depend on the brand if it's trusted. I remember this canned corned beef that they found out to have horse meat. And the luncheon meat that have rat's meat. Gross. The canned good is cheap and the brand is not famous. I do not buy canned goods that I do not know or trust because it's really hard to tell. I just hope that those I trust really put the meat that they said was on the label.

Honestly, Those canned thingies, Are never as good as when you make them. They use preservatives and so on that can have adverse effects on the body. But Preservation is the whole purpose of the canned goods. They are made at a lesser quality but, I guess it's your money's worth?

That in itself is a good question. I hope it's not like how they make chicken nuggets D:

Truly speaking i don't believe canned foods at all, neither i like them at all. Because they really taste very bland for me. But still sometimes out of hard times i have to eat them. But i don't like canned food. They are so different from the fresh ones.

I doubt it honestly. I don't believe the ready made /canned foods available. I avoid them . But sometimes we really cant avoid as we don't have the choice.
I really cant believe what they mention on the labels. They add many but mention only some which sounds healthy and they leave the unhealthy things which are not so good for health without mentioning them .
