I upgraded my phone from iphone 3gs to Samsung s3. Seems to me like normal. They are both phones. Before, its hard for me to ask my dad and step mom to allow me rent a boarding house. Now, it was granted. I live with a friend and i have my own place. Still, a bit unhappy.
I have jobs, good schooling, good friends and family. I could buy anything I wanted, cuz i could work for it.
But,
behind all those things that others don't have. I feel something is missing.
What it is? Well, I too don't know.
I'm contented with what I have. I'm not that materialistic. (I just had s3 cuz i got it as gift) but all in all , i feel like something is really missing.
Have you ever felt the same thing?
Like, you have all you want yet not what you really need?
Problem is, I don't know what is that, that i really need ..

Well, I don't think that there is really a person among us that is completely happy with their lives. I guess what I am trying to say is that if we were happy about every little part of our lives then we really wouldn't have anything to live for.
With that said, for me, the things that I find lead me to not necessarily being happy with my life is the fact that I am in a continual struggle to get by financially in my life. I just firmly believe that I would be a lot happier if I didn't have to worry about every dollar and such to make sure that we were able to make ends meet.

I don't know. Right now, I have a nice job, a nice family, and while I can't get anything I want, I can get some things. I do sometimes feel vaguely discontent, like there should be something more. Maybe you need a mission in life? A purpose? Or at least a project with something to do that you are working towards might help you feel more satisfied with yourself.

I think sometimes you have to experience having nearly nothing to really appreciate the simple things.
I think I had the same feelings when I was young. I grew up in a sheltered life so when I got everything I wanted I still felt unhappy. But after I went through a dark phase, only then I felt happy about the little things.

Wow,actually everyone will have such feeling as yours, but this feeling is unhealthy and will make you feel not happy, when you have something, you always want more,so in order to be a happy person, pls be happy for what you have, then you will feel much better, pls change your mind.
