Do you feel that the lotto is real, is there a real chance that many that play will ever win it? I think that the lottery is real, because it has paid winners in the past for ever win, I do feel that many people spend so much money on the lotto when they could be saving it, and letting it add up. The lotto is getting richer and richer off of people hard earn dime while only a few ever win it. Over all the lottery is real but is is high chance that we can win No really no in my opinion.

Not sure about the chances of many people , but it is possible to win. My parents won it three times that I can remember. . Not the million dollar one but like in the thousands. They used it for a new bed, to cover some bills and to get a real Christmas tree one year.

The beneficiaries of what the lottery gets in out country are the the government hospitals. But from what I have heard, lottery winners do not get the whole amount. A certain amount is taken away from them to serve as a "donation". I am not sure about that, but that was what I have been hearing.

I believe it is real, however I don't understand how so few people win the lottery. Mostly, they do the games in their favour, so we still have the chance of winning, but it's slim. But, once in a while, someone gets really lucky out of nowhere, and how happy he will be!

That's a good question and to be honest I don't think that it is real either. Even if they do actually pay someone that much money the odds are astronomically slim that anyone would ever win it. It also always seems that the right people never win it. You don't hear any stories in the news about how someone working a menial job won the lottery.
I just think it's a waste of money and would rather spend it on something I enjoy such as food or entertainment. Sometimes we have to stop putting so much importance on having a lot of money and just enjoy what we have worked so hard to earn.

There have been several times that I've been lucky enough to win on scratch off cards that I've purchased so I have no reason at all to doubt that this portion of the lottery isn't real. I also knew the daughter of a woman that won a portion of one of the big jackpots several years ago so I have no reason to doubt that at all. The main thing that keeps me from participating in the lottery on a regular basis is the fact that the odds of winning a jackpot are slim to none.

I don't really think the lottery winnings happens to people like us, poor ones. Most of the people that I have seen win, they have more money than I can dream of to start with, they just don't realize it.
I don't bother to play. I think its a waste of money and time!
