All of us wants to be happy. If you have a good health you are happy. If you have wealth you are happy but these happiness are just temporary. It is because the real happiness of a person is to know God and His words. One should be a christian to understand this.

I'm sorry, but I cannot agree with what you have mentioned. You don't necessarily have to be a christian to understand this worldly truth. I am a Hindu and I also find happiness when I seek god. I live with god and his words teach me and guide me to live my life in the most efficient manner and I am all happy when I am guided by the almighty. You should understand something , there is not much difference in the religions that we all follow. If you have knowledge about all the other religions in depth, then you will realize that all the religions teach only one thing. "Seek me and you will find happiness" words are different and the way they are said is different, but all means the same. There is only 1 god and we all call him by different names. The moment you start discriminating others from you, you start separating yourself from god. Treat everyone as one and that is what god has told all of us.

i agree with you mahi05 in this. there are certain values that are common to all religions, such as Love for God, truth, equality, compassion, social justice, non-violence, and human dignity. Had he (Starter) not introduced the religion, the message would have been lot better and convincing. One should pay respect to all religions and emphasize the commonalities among religions instead of differences which are there due to social traditions, rituals, and historical background. God cares for all Humanity without any discrimination just as the sun throws its light without discriminating anyone.

exactly. As you said, had he (starter , anonymous) had not started the religion, then the point of view would have been totally different and people wouldn't have had such huge differences in their believes. But nevertheless, any religion for that matter preaches equality and do not support discrimination, which is what we should be following even if you are a religious person. I just read this somewhere. "Religion was born to guide you towards God" I do agree the above statement. Yes, religions were born to guide people to reach god. Each community of people seek god through different ways, but ultimately, all religions teach the same things and as you said only the rituals and practices by which we seek is different and ofcourse that depends on the people. Some people call religious leaders as god and create a new religion in their name. Now a days there are so many religions which are born often. For me, As far as they preach and teach good things and lead to god, any religion is fine.

I think to know god's words is not a happiness. There are many people know God's words but not willing to do those words. A real happiness is we are sure that we will go to heaven after we die. So, find out how you can make sure you will know that you will go to heaven until you die. Many people seem don't know where they will go in the second life, or some others don't believe that there is a second life after die. There are two choice, a happiness life in heaven; without to work, no cry and another part of the second life is a horrible life in hell.

I agree with you. Another thing is happiness is not found on earth, but found in heaven. Here on earth is just a training ground to enhance our spirit to attain happiness in heaven.

I think it comes from the inside, from what I've seen from happy people they are usually calm, don't keep competing with others, judging or criticizing, I think because they know their limits and qualities and when we love others we love ourselves, there's no one thing or another. They are ALL good people though, that's what they seem to have in common, happy people seems to live consciously for their own good as much as the other living beings good.

I think real happiness is we are satified with who we are and what we are doing, we are firm in our heart, we don't complain about the outside world. We love people and we are loved by others, we have work to earn money and we have hope for the future.

Religion has nothing to do with happiness in my opinion. Definitely you have to be a good person to be happy. Happiness according to me is an inner feeling which comes from within. You can be poor but happy. Yes you must enjoy your life to be happy. The real happiness comes from within and it has nothing to do with believing god according to me. I know that some people differ with me . I like to live my life and really learn a lot to be happy.

To be truly happy is to be content with your life , that is what I think true happiness is . Life is a blessing but we should enjoy it and not waste it being unhappy .

"The joy of the Lord is my strength" "Rejoice in the Lord Always and Again I said Rejoice" The song lyrics above reflect the true joy that a person found in the Lord. Living in God's way and guidance will bring good health, wealth and joy along the way. Happiness comes with it.

While real happiness may be complex for us. Happiness isn't about what happens to us; it is about how we perceive what happens to us. It's the knack of finding a positive for every negative, and viewing a setback as a challenge. It's not wishing for what we don't have, but enjoying what we do possess.

I agree with you. Real happiness can be found in God. We cannot find it in anything or anyone. In my experience, I had done something I thought I can achieved real happiness and I was wrong. I realized then that real happiness can be found in God alone. God Bless

Thanks for asking such as useful question. Apart from love, no human experience allures better press than happiness. I'm continuously amazed by those people who do not trust in God rather they put trust in other things. every now and then i come across some of the celebrities who change his/her name or change the spelling of a name just to make some life-changing decision, probably because their astrologer advised them or some personal psychic enforced these rules. that's really sad, because in this way you're turning yourself from God instead of going toward Him. let me tell these people that God holds a key for all the time to come. God works in a way that He waits for us to choose a proper direction and then step up, after which He supplies us with blessings or power that we need to finish the journey. there are people of different nature altogether; they have their own interests, own preferences, inclinations, and prejudices which is why every one has its own way of finding happiness. some people try to attain happiness via accomplishments and material things, whereas others use spiritual means. The fact is, happiness is not something to be achieved or discovered or conquered rather it's already HERE, something to just notice. if you are too busy to observe happiness then may be you're overlooking happiness. there are two things humans mainly do; longing for happiness and freedom from the suffering of the ego. both these are worthwhile desires. The problem starts from the point, want something which means that you don't already have it. you think that you are not free when you already are. you think that you need to do something something in order to make yourself happy, and you don't. this is a very harsh truth for your ego to accept. Actually ego doesn't observe the happiness which is already here for the simple reason that the happiness doesn't look like as the ego thinks it to be. what actually the happiness is? it's not easy since the term is used in different ways. according to aristotle, happiness is something when humans beings flourishing in their natural environment.
