I just heard that David Bowie is coming out with a new album!

This will be the first new album in 10 years! I only heard a short news clip on the radio about this, so I don't have all the details yet. Have any other DB fans heard anything about this? I am really looking forward to hearing it...I wonder what his new "genre" will be?

Great that he's making a come-back, but oh how I wish he'd take up acting again! I never did quite recover after that late-night Labyrinth session.

I still love his music, although his later stuff not as much as the music he produced in the 1970s and early 80s....
As for his son, that is interesting, although I can completely understand why he might choose not to be called "Zowie Bowie"...

I'm a big fan, and I know that's what I want...LOL. However, since he experimented with so many different styles of music, I wonder which "same ol, same ol" they were referring to?

Very true. A few of his videos were brilliant, especially 'China Girl' and I got a bit miffed whenever it was cut (you know, the bit when he writhes around the beach with his China Girl) lol.

Well, everyone is entitled to their own opinion.... But I do agree that his earlier work is better than his later stuff, for sure. That's usually the case with everyone though, isn't it?

Yes, hard to believe we now think 80s music was good...LOL. I think his earlier stuff (70s) is even better--Rebel Rebel, Suffragette City, Heroes...but I was VERY young then so really only started listening to him in the 80s.

I've heard that he has been recording it "secretly" for the past two years. Must be really good if he spend so much time making it perfect.
