What business can my parents start so they have other things to do at home?

I'm bothered and been thinking lately what good business that my parents could start so they just stay at home sitting and watching tv whole day or sleeping. They wanted to do something useful and also something that could help me financially. A mini store will do but two of our neighbors already have beside us. I need something unique. Ideas... ideas please :)

How about an eatery? You don't lose anything when you go into food business because you yourself eat. If your neighbors have mini stores, then you can have a small restaurant that offers snacks, food for breakfast, lunch and dinner. You only need one cook if you don't know how to do that yourself, and one waitress.

Hi Cutie, thanks for your suggestion. Eatery is good but I don't think Eatery will boom here inside a subdivision specially we only have small community since most of the houses here are still empty. Maybe once they open the Suntech IT PARK then we could start that kind of business. I just need to get a good location which right now I don't know who to contact for it. I have not heard if they are already offering location for business. I guess I just need to wait for that.

If they are artsy, or if they are into making things, then they could always open a shop on Etsy.com. I know somebody who sells handmade items on Etsy, and it is working out quite nicely. Since it is online, there is a wide audience of people that you can sell to. Also, the transactions are through PayPal, so there is no worry of payment from customers.
